  Hi! Do you mean cannajointrelief.com ? I can see it’s still in your account, so if you want to add it back to the site you can use these steps:
  https://wordpress.com/support/domains/connect-existing-domain/

  First, choose a plan here. You won’t need the Business Plan, but you will at least need Personal to host a domain here:
  https://wordpress.com/plans

  Next choose to connect the domain: https://wordpress.com/domains

  Then point your domain to these name servers:
  ns1.wordpress.com
  ns2.wordpress.com
  ns3.wordpress.com

  If you need to add other DNS settings before you do that, you can:
  https://wordpress.com/support/domains/custom-dns/

  Does that help?

  If you’re intending to buy different hosting and point your domain there instead, that’s doable too. Just let us know what have in mind.

  yes, but i dont control the dns record since it was registered through wordpress.com

  when i do a whois it says that the ns records point to your name servers, howevre whenever i try to add it, it says its hosted with another site?

  need this back asap as my site is down

  Oh one more thing:

  Your own internet connection may have trouble seeing the site right now. It also needs a little while to get reoriented with the changes. I can see a live site now, though.

  Hi,

  Is that the best route to go, if not what do you recommend?

  Hi @julieanndennis, you actually will not need a plan if you’re already hosting the site somewhere else. Just the domain will do.

  The extra concierge session you bought would also be inappropriate since you’re moving your site out, so I’ll cancel and refund that and the plan purchase. And, your domain is just old enough for a transfer, so here’s how to get started with that:

  so, to confirm, once you cancel plan purchase, my domain will stay the same, would hate to lost it again.

  When you go to cancel the plan, you will have an option to keep the domain.
