Need help accessing my site
-
I am new to WordPress. I need help accessing and editing my site so I can customize it. I don’t seem to be able to get all the editing tools that would allow me to edit my site.

Hi there!
Alright, I’ll be able to help. Can I first get a URL to the site you are referring to? This helps me understand what you need, so that I can help further :)
Cheers :)

Hi again—
Thanks for that information. So, you can customize your site on WordPress.com, although there may be features some sites have that you don’t, as you would need to upgrade your plan.
You can customize your site by easily heading into My Sites > Customize > …and edit what you need. Also, certain themes have different customization tools, and restrictions, so when you choose a new theme, different customization options apply.
You could also head into My Sites > Settings, which enables you to edit some basic options, like your site name, and site logo, etc.. This is another opportunity that people use for their sites to customize faster.
I have a few helpful tips for you, that can make you learn more about these features. I hope that I could help, and understood your query. If you need any more assistance, please reply back here, so that I can help further!
Wishing you success with your site :)Helpful Links:

A little history. I am already a premium member. I had started to create a site and used one of the existing templates with the intent to edit it later. I was unable to continue with the site so I logged out. So, I am now trying to get back into the site so I can edit it.
However, when I login to my site, all I see is the following:
1. Top left: My Site and Reader. When I click on My Site, I get the option to create a site, which I don’t understand since I already started to create a site. Then a form is presented for which I have to enter a domain (which I had already done). And when I enter a domain in the form it tells me the domain is already associated with a site. So, I still don’t know why I cannot customize my site if I have a premium account.

Good evening —
Wow, I am so sorry I didn’t know you were an existing user! Well, this shouldn’t be happening, and I don’t want you to be frustrated.
I will go ahead and tag this as Modlook, so that staff could be able and reply here to check your account, since I don’t have the tools to do so.
While we wait, you may also want to use a new browser to see if this issue still persists. If you use a newer browser, and the issue continues, Then just wait for a reply from staff.
Cheers :)

Hi there,
The account you are using to post here was created only yesterday and does not own any sites on WordPress.com.
The site you’re trying to edit belongs to a completely different username account, homelanduser. Please log out of this account and log in as the correct user to be able to manage that site.
If you can’t remember your login details for the homelanduser account, please see our account recovery options here:

Thanks very much. I’m not sure how I ended up with two accounts. But after logging in with the homeland user account and creating a new password, I am not able to edit the site.

I am not able to edit the site.
Jut to confirm, you’re still unable to edit the site? This account is the owner and only user on that site, and you should be able to do anything to that site if logged into this account.
Please try clearing your browser cache and cookies, and then log into this account again. If it still doesn’t work, please let me know exactly what it is you’re trying to do.
