  it says bychloetess.com failed when I go to “add new post”

  You are in the wrong forum as your site isn’t running on the WordPress.com platform, https://www.whoishostingthis.com/#search=bychloetess.com, but uses the open source WordPress.org. Their support is at https://wordpress.org/support/

  That is where I found this help page. I’m hosted on Reclaim but the issue is WordPress I believe. Do they have a support email instead of this forum? Thanks!

  This forum is for sites running on the wordpress.com platform, not for sites using the open source wordpress.org.
  Wordpress.org only has a forum for support, https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
