Need help attributing image credits

  Hi! I’m new to WordPress and could use some help on a problem:
  On an image on my home page, I am trying to include a caption that gives attribution credits to the photographer. However, when I click on the block (a media and text block), no such ‘caption’ option shows up.

  I’m using the Coutoire theme if that provides any clarity!

  Hi there,

  So the option to add/show captions on the image that’s used on the Media & Text block does not exist even on the core WordPress.org software, so it’s not possible to do that at the moment. (There’s an open feature request here if you want to add your thoughts.)

  If you need to show the caption, I suggest using a Column block with two columns and use the Image block on the first column. This way, you can show the caption on the Image block.
