Need help registering my client’s email address to his existing domain and website

  Hi there,

  I am helping a client, Austin Mann, fix his website. The person who set up his website must have done it wrong because when trying to set up the contact forms, it says his email address is not registered to the domain. We are able to log into the dashboard and make edits to the website no problem, we just can’t set up the contact forms or log in directly from wordpress. I also can’t follow the forums instructions ‘change my domain contact information’ because we cannot log into his wordpress.

  Hi there,

  What is the site, and what is the email you’re trying to use for the contact form?

  Please note that we can only help in this forum with sites hosted on WordPress.com, not with WordPress sites hosted with other providers. For help with sites hosted elsewhere you want the self-hosted WordPress forums instead at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/, though as this involves a contact form which is not a built-in WordPress feature you’ll want support for the specific contact form plugin you’re using instead.

  Also note that we can only help the owner or someone added as an admin of a site to make changes to a particular site.
