This is a peer support forum where Volunteers and Staff work cooperatively to deliver WordPress.com support. Volunteers answer most questions and Staff monitor. When Volunteers cannot provide the required support we flag threads for Staff attention.
There is no phone support here. If you have purchased an upgrade then you can contact Staff directly using this link http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/ If you have not purchased an upgrade then simply post what you need help with into this thread.
As bloggers are writers we are expected to be able to use search utilities and follow written instructions and we have plenty of those. On the bottom of your Admin page you will find a link to the Learn WordPress.com blogging Tutorial prepared by Staff. http://learn.wordpress.com/
The support documentation is all found at the Support link http://en.support.wordpress.com which is also on the bottom of your Admin page.In addition to that we have a crew of Volunteers who tirelessly provide hand holding support in forum threads by providing the same answers to the same questions day in and day out. lol :D
Don’t hesitate to ask for help because we forum zombies :D will be happy to provide it.

Well I see things differently because have been here for over 6 years. When I arrived there was one support Staff and one Moderator, one forum (no sub-foums) and no support documentation, just a single thread of FAQs.
If you have a question to ask go ahead as I’ll be happy to either answer it or see to it that someone else does.
