Need Help with Domain Transfer

    Hi,
    I’m trying to upload my domain to my free WordPress site…and it’s asking to ejther map the domain or transfer from rhe host that currently hosts my domain ,siteground.. Is it less expensive to transfer the domain to WordPress feom siteground ather than mapping since mapping is expensive..

    That depends on what your annual domain registration costs through Site Ground.

    With WordPress.com, the domain transfer or mapping is included for the first year with your plan purchase. https://wordpress.com/pricing/

    After the first year, you’ll pay for your plan plus $18 in registration. The mapping is included for free. Write back with more questions.
