need help with opening specific link/page by clicking menu/button

  In my website there are button/menu I do not know what to call those when I click it I want it to take me to specific link but it is taking me to a new unwanted page in wordpress. Here is picture expiation

  OK since those pictures are not visible here I will explain what I need help with. http://www.svttdm.com is my website. There is a button/menu I created call forum and when someone click on it I want it to take people to http://www.svttdm.com/forum but it is actually taking people to http://svttdm.com/?page_id=8 . So for temporary use I download a plugin and created another forum button in this link http://svttdm.com/?page_id=8 and now that take people to actual forum.

  You may create a link to http://www.svttdm.com/forum in a widget that you display in your sidebar. I’d suggest either a text widget link, or an image widget link. If you use an image widget, place the destination URL in the field at the bottom of the widget titled “Link URL (when the image is clicked).”
