  I contacted the creator of my theme with some problems and he asked for my ftp details and admin login to take a look for himself. I dont know about this, it makes me wonder. And input?

  That information is NOT relevant when it comes to any free hosted WordPress.COM blog like http://ididntask.wordpress.com/

  The only themes we can use on free hosted WordPress.com blogs like your blog are the themes found here http://wordpress.com/themes/

  There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.com blogs and we cannot:

  • upload any third party themes,
  • create child themes,
  • create our own themes,
  • edit templates,

  create our own layouts

  • or use stylesheets from other themes.

  There is no upgrade you can purchase that changes that. WordPress.org offers free software that you can install on a web server. You can create themes, upload and install themes and plugins, run ads, and edit the database, etc. Learn about the differences here. http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  If you have an issue with a theme provided here http://wordpress.com/themes/ then post exactly what it is into this thread please.

  I’m sorry to hear that you are having trouble. However, your site is a self-hosted WordPress.org site, which we really can’t help with.

  To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities: http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  WordPress.org has complete documentation and support sites for self-hosted/installed versions of WordPress.org at http://codex.wordpress.org/ and http://wordpress.org/support/
