Need to cancel/block account

  Hello,

  Someone has fraudulently used my email to sign up for this and there is now way to actually get help on this site. Is there anyway to cancel/block anyone from using my email on this site again?

  Hi there,

  The only way to prevent another WordPress.com account from being created with your email so to keep this account active – an email address can only be used with one WordPress.com account at a time. So go to https://wordpress.com/me/security/, set a very long, random password, and then log out and clear your browser cookies.

  It would still be possible to use the account, but only if you know the password, or have access to your email account in order to request a password reset.

  You can also delete this account completely, but once that process completes after 30 days it will be possible to create a new account using the same email address.

  Close Your Account

  Keep in mind that only someone who has access to your email account can actually use a WordPress.com account they create using your email.
