Need to change domain to .net

  I wanted to create a blog with the domain “broccolicheeseonline.net” and pay $17 a year for the privilege. But the dumb machine set it up as “broccolicheeseonline.wordpress.com,” and I cannot figure out how to fix it. There is no way for me to contact anyone at WordPress, and I can’t even figure out how to take down the domain so I can try to start over. If anyone knows how I can fix this, please help! Thanks.

  You can email support@wordpress.com or you can request a refund via your upgrades page, I believe.

  Sounds like you need to register “broccolicheeseonline.net”

  Then domain map “broccolicheeseonline.net” to the blog you now have – DON’T delete ANYTHING
