Need to Change Primary Account Owner

There are 2 people with access to our website — how do we need switch their levels so that the current owner becomes #2, and the current #2 (me) becomes the owner? Ironically, I just had to log in as the owner to pay for website renewal on my credit card. BTW, I am very frustrated — I cannot find any way to contact accounting to solve this ‘offline’ — this should not be going (in my opinion) through forums for an answer.

Livechat support is available for WordPress.com users with a purchased upgrade. You can access it here:

However, you need to be logged into the user account that owns the upgrade in order to be able to reach livechat. And that sounds like the crux of the issue.
Your best path to straightening this out is to have the current owner transfer ownership to your account using these instructions:
