this was amazingly unhelpful. I asked for a way to get the authorization code I needed from Wild Wild West. They wont talk to me. They say I have to talk to WordPress. I have not received any code via email and my email works.
is there a way to get a straight answer instead of a simply link to an article that is not useful?

The article I linked is instructions for transferring your domain to another registrar. Receiving the EPP code is a step in those instructions. If you followed the instructions and did not receive the EPP code, then that is a problem.
Are you sure that the email you are checking is the same as the email listed as the admin contact on the domain registration?

To clarify, Wild West Domains is our domain registration partner. Following the instructions I linked to will tell their system to send you the EPP code.
