need to have document on homepage without it just being download link

  Hi. I have a class project where I have to make a professional website. One of the requirements is to have a portfolio where your work is instantly accessible to the viewer. I have been trying to do that but have found no way of solving this without paying for the business subscription and downloading a plug-in. Is there any other way for me to do this without spending $300?
