Need to HIDE my site’s title and tagline while keeping for SEO/browser purposes

    I am new to WP and building out a new web site using WP Staging while my URL redirects visitors to another platform. I am using the SportsBlog Plus theme by United Theme. I cannot get anyone there to respond. Here’s my question: The theme’s header/masthead was designed for a typographical name. I am using a logo instead and would like to HIDE the site name/tagline that appear. There is no option in the them to hide them. Is there some code I can add to prevent the site title/description from displaying in my header? Thank you in advance.
