    Hello, I received an email saying my domain has successfully been cancelled, but I need to purchase that domain again. Please can you help me do this?

    To repurchase the domain could be tricky, if not impossible, depending on things like how old is the domain? How much time has passed since the cancelation? It’s registered at WordPress.com? Did you purchase only the domain or its registration was included for free in a 1+ plan purchase, that then got canceled?

    @hello040c4e081a , hey there. When you cancel a new domain it will go into holding for a bit. Please let us know which of these options works best for you:

    Repurchase the Domain: We can send an invoice for the domain. Once it’s restored, it will redirect to your free site, or you can point it to another host and transfer after 60 days.

    Purchase an Annual Plan: To host your site here after all, buy an annual plan, skip the domain option, then update us here.

    Wait: You can wait for the domain to be released. For .com domains, this is about five days. I’ve seen it go much longer with .co.uk domains sometimes, so I don’t recommend this option in your case.

    Let us know what you want to do and we’ll get that set up. You’ll just want to act quickly, since domain cancellations are extremely time sensitive.
