Need to purge all site from 'My Sites' and elsewhere
-
I reinstalled my SiteGround’s WordPress software after changing my domain name from eyesofthearchitect.org to eyesofthearchitect.net. I’m now having trouble with JetPack monitoring now and I discovered old and duplicate information in the My Sites section on my EyesOfTheArchitect WordPress.com account, and elsewhere — for example, even the ‘Blog URL’ dropdown below is absolutely wrong, saying ‘eyesofthearchitect.net/wordpress (eyesofthearchitect.org)’. That’s completely wrong. Can you delete any sites showing under My Sites and elsewhere under my account? I am unable to find any option to do so myself. Basically, I want my EyesOfTheArchitect account ‘purged clean’ so I can attempt to set up JetPack monitoring again from scratch. Thank you.

Thank you. Yes, it appears to be a bug/defect in the backend systems when an account is unable to delete its associated blogs like this.

Hi there,
I just removed the old eyesofthearchitect.net site from your WordPress.com account, so you’re all set with that. Please let me know if I can do anything more to help, or you can contact our Jetpack support team directly for more help with Jetpack on your site. :)

Thank you. That helps. There is a related issue now that perhaps might be a bug with the JetPack 3.2.1 plug-in or a misunderstanding on my part. My WordPress install location was https://eyesofthearchitect.net/wordpress but my Site URL is simply https://eyesofthearchitect.net. When I go to configure JetPack it keeps automatically choosing the URL https://eyesofthearchitect.net/wordpress. I don’t think this is correct.
For example, under My Sites this URL now shows with a “previewing” icon that never loads correctly. This is possible because the URL is a bad one. If you visit https://eyesofthearchitect.net/wordpress you will get an error. Only https://eyesofthearchitect.net loads the site correctly.
In my WordPress Settings > General page I have configured:
WordPress Address (URL) = https://eyesofthearchitect.net/wordpress
Site Address (URL) = https://eyesofthearchitect.netShouldn’t JEtPack be monitoring my Site Address of https://eyesofthearchitect.net and NOT the WordPress install folder?
