Need to transfer domain from Shopify to WordPress

    Hi, I’m looking to transfer a domain from Shopify to WordPress, for this which plan is better to select, and after selecting the plan can I will be able to connect the Shopify domain to WordPress?

    Hi there,

    To clarify, you wish to set up your eCommerce site here on WordPress.com as well? Or do you just wish to move the domain, but plan to set up a more traditional “website” that does not include ecommerce?

    We do not have ecommerce built in on WordPress.com, but it can be added via a “plugin” which is possible if you upgrade to our Business plan. Once you upgrade we recommend the WooCommerce plugin for WordPress, which will add full ecommerce functionality to your site.

    A free domain transfer is included in the Business plan, and in addition when the transfer is complete, we add one year of free registration, so you do not have to renew the domain until next year. Additionally the Business Plan includes priority live chat support for realtime assistance with any questions you have, so you do not need to post in the public forums for help.
