We’re limited in how we can help because we don’t actually host your site on WordPress.com (1&1 IONOS uses a different version of the WordPress platform) and don’t have access to your server files.
We have a process for transferring ownership for sites hosted directly on WordPress.com, but not for WordPress sites created through other providers. Have you contacted 1&1 IONOS for help in transferring account ownership for your hosting to the client?

The reason we need to transfer is because jetpack is connected to us as developers and the client wants to create its own shipping labels with jetpack but they would need access to our account with multiple websites.
