Need to upload a vector file *.ai

  I need to upload a vector file *.ai and replace .pdf files. I receive an error file that I am not allowed to upload these types of files

  Hi there,

  WordPress.com can only accept certain file types and I’m afraid that .ai files is not one of the ones that we support here: https://wordpress.com/support/accepted-filetypes/

  We do not offer a workaround for uploading that kind of file so you may need to use a file sharing service and then add a link to that file into your WordPress pages or posts instead.
