net::ERR_CONNECTION_CLOSED why?

  • Unknown's avatar

    most of the pictures on our website don’t load anymore. sometimes they do, most of the time they don’t.

    i’ve tried disabling all the plugins, changeing the theme, re-uploading all the images, clearing the cache, numerous cache plugins. everything is up to date.

    if you right click on a image that has not been loaded, you can choose load image and it will instantly show the image. but if you reloade the page the image is most likely gone again…

    now i found in the chrome console that i get an net::ERR_CONNECTION_CLOSED 200 or 404 on every image that does not load.

    can anyone help me to fix this? i have no idea what else to try.

  • Hi there,

    The site m3studios.at appears to be a self-hosted WordPress (also called “.org”) site hosted on Neue Medien Muennich Web Hosting, and not a site hosted on our WordPress.com service.

    You can confirm here: https://www.whoishostingthis.com/?q=m3studios.at#search=m3studios.at

    To clarify, we are not the only providers of WordPress sites, and Neue Medien Muennich also happens to offer WordPress sites, but they use a different version of the platform than what we use here. Because of this we are not able to help with your issue as it lies outside of our system. See http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ for more info.

    You can find support for your self-hosted WordPress site here: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

    You may also wish to contact your host’s support team for more assistance.

    Hope that points you in the right direction!
