  We currently have our domain name on an active website with a host. We don’t want to disturb that right now. Can we purchase a new business subscription with WP, under that same domain name to move the hosting to at a later time.

  Keeping the new site private will help prevent any SEO confusion since you’re going to have the same content on two different addresses.
