New account options

  As an author, I wanted to create a new account with a pen name but it shows. I chose the address, but it still shows my avatar and account information from this primary account. I don’t want them associated. Do I need to delete the new account and start over? Would that account address still be available?

  I can see there are two sites in your account. If you don’t want them associated with each other in any way, I recommend doing the following:

  1. Create a second WordPress.com account for your pen name (if you haven’t done so already)
  2. Transfer ownership of the site to the new account you have created

  Once these steps are complete, you should have a different avatar and profile for each site.

  Do I need to delete the new account and start over? Would that account address still be available?

  We aren’t able to restore deleted accounts, which means you should only delete an account you won’t need again in the future.
