    Hi,

    We are planning to get a Business plan for our company but we have some questions regarding the setup and authentication. What’s the best way to talk to the support team?

    Below are our questions:

    1. How do we integrate with thirdparty services like Pendo. Looks like Pendo authenticates using API keys but did you deprecate that feature from wordpress?
    2. We want our data to be private, non-crawlable and non-indexed. Is that possible?
    3. Can we host the data on your servers but get a domain name of our choice instead of wordpress.com?
    4. Would we be charged extra(apart from 25$ per month) for the domain registration?
    5. With Business pricing plan, is there any limit on the numbers of users who can directly login to wordpress to create the docs. Does our pricing plan change by the number of accounts?

    The WordPress software doesn’t have any native integration for anything called Pendo, nor does it have any feature to directly add API keys for services like that.

    To integrate with third party services like that requires a plugin, and the plugin would handle whatever API authentication is required by that service, i.e. you’d add the API keys for your account somewhere in the plugin’s configuration settings, and then it handles the calls to that API.

    Contact Pendo directly to ask if they have an official WordPress plugin for their service. If not, you’ll need to search for one online.

    2. We want our data to be private, non-crawlable and non-indexed. Is that possible?

    What do you mean by the word “data”? You can set a site to hidden from search engines, while it’s still accessible to anyone who has a link, or you can use a plugin to make the site entirely private and accessible only to people you specifically give access.

    Data in the site database, including data added by any plugin, is not accessible to search engines regardless of the site’s visibility. Search engines can only see and index what visitors to your site see – the HTML content of publicly accessible pages in a web browser.

    You can add your own domain using any of our paid plans, yes.

    All our plans include one free domain registration for the first year. From the second year onwards the domain renews at an additional cost. The renewal cost of the domain will depend on the type of domain you register:

    Also note that if you intend to use any premium plugins sold by other companies, the cost of those are not included in our Business Plan, but will have to be paid directly to the companies who sell those plugins.

    There is no limit to the number of users you can add to a site, and it doesn’t make any difference to the cost of the plan.
