New blocks

  Blocks are actually in layout very crappy since they only add something for mobile readers, on computers most of the block settings and none nestling images into text etc yields a very clunky and unrefined layout. Really don’t like the new blocks especially when it comes to gallery and inserting images. Feels like it doesn’t turns out nice however I try and this may be the final reason for me to change platform. It just doesn’t feel fun to work on things that turns out the way you like anyway. It’s too big a hassle to get things looking slightly as you want it to. :(

  Perhaps you should take some time to get used to the Gutenberg blocks. It’s very easy to put images next to a text using either an Image Block or a Media & text Block.

  Thanks for the tip, but I didn’t find it easy at all.
  Without blocks you simply put the marker where you wanted it and choose insert media. The settings for galleries etc – simply are more intuitive to me the classic way than the new block way.
  In time perhaps – but right now it feels like a hassle to me still.
