New blog has the same Blog Name as the old blog.

I’m moving my blog within wp.com. I’ve created the new blog and I will buy the Redirect upgrade. But in My Blogs the new blog has the same Blog Name as the old one. How do I change that – I want it to be Lonesome Lotus Yoga? My new blog address is lonesomelotus. My old blog address is allbeingsyoga. Thanks.

The blog’s name can be changed by adjusting the Site Title field at Settings -> General in the blog’s Dashboard.

I understand the Site Title thing. I wanted a new blog with a matching address. It looks now like I still have the same old blog with an additional new address. I have a notice that says that both “blogs” (if there are two) have the same Site Address and that my new address I created is a Dashboard Address. Are not Site Title and Blog Name different things? I’m trying to do a new blog. The new blog name and address are important to me. I don’t want to screw up and lose the name and address. I am willing to pay for assistance. Thanks.

Which one should be the new one?

I was trying to do an entirely new blog named lonesomelotusyoga. I want the new blog to have a matching address of lonesomelotusyoga.wordpress.com. I will upgrade the domain to lonesomelotus.com after everything is settled.
I want my new blog – lonesomelotusyoga – to have all the content of my old blog. I’m blogging the same subject, and I want to change everything to the new name and address.
Allbeingsyoga.com is my old blog and I meant for it to keep its old address of allbeingsyoga.com. I don’t know why allbeingsyoga.wordpress.com is still around after I did the upgrade to allbeingsyoga.com.
I intend to purchase the Redirect so that people coming to my old blog will be redirected to my new one.
I read the instructions many times before I tried this, but maybe I was reading the wrong instructions. I really like Lonesome Lotus and I don’t want to screw it up and I want everything lined up clean. Thanks very much for your help. I’m afraid to touch it at this point.

Ok, so from what I read here, you actually almost have everything set as desired.
You just need to go to Store -> Domains in the Dashboard for http://allbeingsyoga.com/ and set the primary domain to lonesomelotusyoga.wordpress.com
