I started a new blog for my church. It somehow is linked to my blog, showing me as owner. It needs to be a separate blog, owned by my church. How do I fix that?

In my frustration, I ‘guessed’ that nothing could be done, so I started “ResurrectionBibleStudy.wordpress.com” but I am having a very difficult time with it since I am a novice at this.
I would be very happy to completely delete ResurrectionBibleStudy.Wordpress.com and just use the original COTRBibleStudy.wordpress.com associated with (email visible only to moderators and staff)
The problem results from me being the church member who will be managing the online Bible Study, the church website and I also have my own blog (which I just started).
If this can be done, I have one more question: I am having trouble finding a way for potential Bible Study Members to sign up using their e-mail address. The themes I picked for ResurrectionBibleStudy only allow sign up through social media. Some of our church members have e-mail, but not social media accounts.

In spite of my rookie-ness I really like the way WordPress works. I am so glad I chose it. My personal blog was very easy to set up. This bible study site is much more difficult. That’s because I have to see how the invitations work, etc.

Ownership of cotrbiblestudy.wordpress.com can be transferred from your account to (email visible only to moderators and staff) with these steps:

resurrectionbiblestudy.Wordpress.com is owned by biblestudycotr so you will need to log in to that account to delete the site:
This process means the address will be unavailable in the future, so that’s just something to bear in mind if there is a chance you may need it again.

It sounds like the Follow Blog widget will do what you need — it gives visitors the option to sign up to receive email notifications for new posts:
