New category in home page

  Hello

  I have a blog xxxxx.wordpress.com where I have some old posts. Now I am starting again with new Category and is it possible to have the new category posts come up in my main page without the old posts still in it. I still want the old posts in the blog and hence delete old posts is not an option I am looking at.

  Hi Yagya,

  If you’d like, you can set up a category page for that new category. That way, visitors can go to that new page to view only the posts in that category: Category Pages

  There isn’t a way to exclude your old posts from the latest posts (blog) page, but if you’d like you could set up a static page as your front page with this guide: Front Page

  You can either leave that page with just static content, so visitors have to click through to the category page to see your new posts, or you can use the Display Posts Shortcode to display all the posts in your new category on that front page.
