New contributor not showing as user

    I sent an invitation to someone to join WordPress to help in this blog.. She sent a message to say she had joined, but is not showing up on the user list as other I invited have done. When I put in her email address WordPress is not recognising it. What do I do next? It has been planned for her to add a piece tomorrow, with me on-line to help. Being as she is the opposite side of the world to me, it has been difficult to arrange, and I had not anticipated her name not showing up as a user of the Bookmooch Journals blog, as the others invited have done so immediately.     Log out, clear your browser cache and cookies, restart your browser and then take another look.

    And when you invited them, did you check the “Add user to my blog as a contributor” before sending the invitation?

    Many thanks. I did add them as a contributor. Once I reopened the site however it went through, so thanks for that advice. I should have known, but it didn’t occur to me, as all the others had been so trouble-free. Diolch yn fawr iawn, as we say in these parts! Gill T.
