New domain name is not working!!!! Please help! Very urgent

  I can not get my new domain name to work – http://www.rishandliam.com.au – I have no idea if I have actually set it up properly. It is very urgent that this site gets up and running as it is the web address I gave on my wedding invitations which I have already sent to the quests. I am very confused as why it won’t work. Please help me!!!!

  I think I registered the new name (www.rishandliam.com.au) as an already purchased domain name from another registered company. This is not the case – how do I fit this?

  After some reading it seems that you only support .com sites not .com.au – does that mean I’ll have to purchase a domain name with rishandliam.com.au and then DNS map it to my existing wordpress blog? If so – how on earth do i do that? please help me!!!!

  Hi there,

  Although domains ending with .com.au cannot be registered here at WordPress.com, you can register that domain elsewhere and then map it to your WordPress.com blog with these instructions: Map an Existing Domain

  I see that you were able to register the domain rishandliam.com.au, and it is now correctly pointing to your WordPress.com blog. Please note that it may take 2-3 days for your new domain to work everywhere. (This process is called domain propagation.) However, it’s set up correctly and working on my end.
