New domain-name to current blog

  I just bought a new domain-name that I want to use instead of my current wordpress.com blog address. How do I apply this new domain-name to my old blog? I don’t want to create a new blog with the new domain – just want the address to be changed.

  You purchased the ‘Site Redirect’ upgrade but it suppose to be the ‘Domain Mapping’ upgrade. I’ve just canceled the upgrade and added the $13 to your WordPress.com account. Please use that to purchase the ‘Domain Mapping’ upgrade.

  You can go to Store > Domains on your blog’s dashboard and follow the steps there.

  Thanks for your help. I purchased the domain-name through goDaddy as proposed somewhere on wordpress.com and now I see (under Domain Mapping), that it could have been done easier through you. But I have now changed the nameservers as requested and hope that I will make it work from there. Otherwise, I’ll revert!
