  New editor does not permit editing the subject.

  It is any post which has been published and where a need exists to change the subject or correct a spelling error and is opened in the new editor.

  The older editor, which no longer appears to be available permitted editing of the subject.

  I just tested this on my own site and I was able to change the title of my post in the new editor. Are you having trouble changing the URL as well? Or just the title? Can you tell me exactly how you’re getting to the editor?

  It changes in the document but does not update the url.

  The old editor provides the ability to also edit the url separately. This is important to me if I misspell a title and need to correct.
