New email address to an axisting account

  Hi,

  I have an account with WordPress but I have been using my personal email to log in into my site. I created a new email that I would like to use instead of my personal email. How can I log in into my site with my new email?
  However, I created a new wordpress account thinking that I would be able to transfer my site to a new account, but I think that’s not the case. I want to delete the new wordpress account but I am not sure how this is going to affect my existing site in my older wordpress account.

  What is your site address? The account you’re using to post here in the forums was created less than a day ago, and does not own any sites.

  Thanks for your reply. You are correct, this account was created two days ago. My site address is culturallanguagesservices.com. I login with a personal email, but I would like to be able to access it with a new gmail account that I created, but WordPress is not allowing me.

  I would like to delete this new created account. Can I do it?

  Hello,

  Thanks for your help. I have already deleted the account I created in WordPress. However, my main issue is the fact that I would like to be able to sign in with another email account, but I cannot. The way I am singing into my WordPress site is through a google account. I created another account with my website name in gmail that I would like to use to sign in. How can I switch accounts to sign in into my wordpress site with my new (email visible only to moderators and staff) account? Thanks for all your help!

  That email address is currently associated with another, active WordPress.com account.

  Log into the other account, and change that account’s email to something else. Then you’ll be able to use that email for your zaplofa account.

  You can also delete the other account, but then it will be 30 days before the email is completely removed from that account, so you won’t be able to re-use that email immediately.
