New follower sent a link to blog owner’s subscription list

  After years running a family history blog with few techy problems, I recently started a new one (Wilcocksons Unwrapped). A new visitor tried clicking the button marked ‘Follow Us!’ and received from WordPress a link to MY OWN WORDPRESS SUBSCRIPTION LIST. How could that happen? How can I prevent it happening again?   That definitely doesn’t sound right, would you please confirm the URL of the site with the problem?

  Thanks for responding macmanx – with help today from family and friends I’ve established what was going on and it turns out the new follower didn’t receive a link to my subscription list even though it looked exactly as if they did. Part of my WordPress learning curve!
