New owner of my old domain is re-posting my content

  I let my domain subscription expire a couple months ago (it was no longer in my budget, and I had stopped posting as much, so it just made the most sense to not keep the site) and reverted back to a .wordpress site. Now, I’ve realized that someone else has bought my old domain and has reposted (and back-dated) a lot of my own posts. Is there anything I can do to have the reposted content removed, or am I just out of luck?

  (I made my current .wordpress site private tp try to keep the new domain owner from copying more content, but idk, that might be futile.)

  Correct, I no longer own righterofwords.com (I did until the end of April 2026). But the posts the new owner is posting are MY posts (which are still on my .wordpress site, which I’ve had to make private now).

  I’ve taken a look, and I see that this domain is no longer registered or hosted with us. Instead, I would recommend locating the site host, which you can see using our Site Profiler, here: https://wordpress.com/site-profiler/righterofwords.com.

  That’s discouraging that you can’t do anything, but I understand. I also wish I had known to just remove my content before letting the domain lapse. I will no longer be using WordPress, but thank you for your information and your prompt replies!
