New page owner, no access. Recovery or Delete
-
posted this at .org, someone told me I needed to come here.
I am the new District Executive for the District the page in question is associated with. The original creator is not with us any longer and I don’t have any information required for recovery.
I need a resolution as I had a volunteer bring to my attention recently they checked the calendar online and saw it was outdated. I didn’t know this page existed until it was brought to my attention a few days ago. The 2 solutions would be:
- Given access to update calendar and contact information.
- Page deletion to avoid further confusion from families and volunteers.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there!
We can definitely help with this, as the site is hosted on WordPress.com. However, as the site is on a different WordPress.com account, we can’t help until we’ve established account ownership.
Did you have a chance to look at the account recovery form here? If you can submit the information requested there, it will help us verify your account ownership and help you with gaining access to the site.
If you don’t have the requested information, we can make the site private so that its information is no longer accessible online. If you’d like to proceed with that, please send an email to our account recovery team at this email address: passwordhelp@wordpress.com.
Thanks!
