  How long does it take for wordpress to update the latest episode of a podcast? I posted my new episode today 3/31, and my new episode has yet to appear after an hours

  I have a block on my page that updates based upon the RSS feed from anchor. Underneath that I have a block that is supposed to show the latest 3 episodes of my podcast with the description showing as well. How does that block update? The podcast player has the latest episode, but the latest 3 episode block has not been updated

  What do you mean what is the link? It is the block on my website https://acupofcoffey574502862.wordpress.com/ that says latest episodes. The latest episode is “How Well Do We Know Our Parents” but in the latest episode block it is showing “The Vegan Doctor ,The Queen, and Meek Mill vs Telashi69”. My question is how do I get that block to update?

  Hi there,

  I think staff-mckluskey was asking for a link to the post that you are having the issue on, but I can see it is your homepage when I visit your site so thank you for claifying.

  You posted your podcast from your Anchor FM account, yes? My understanding is that they have a button you can push (on their end) to send a recent podcast to your WordPress.com site, but it does not happen automatically. We mention that here: https://wordpress.com/support/audio/podcasting/#create-a-site-from-your-anchor-podcast

  Each time you publish a new podcast episode you will be prompted to post it to WordPress and the podcast details will be added to a new WordPress blog post.

  When you published your podcast on Anchor, did you see the prompt to post to your WordPress.com site? Once you post from Anchor to WordPress.com, that will add a blog post to your site, and when you publish that post on your site it will show up in the recent blog posts block as expected.

  This is not something we are able to help with on our end, since we do not have the functionality to send podcasts on our side, that is controlled from your Anchor account. If you are not sure how to push a podcast from Anchor to WordPress.com, you can reach out to Anchor support and they will guide you: https://help.anchor.fm/hc/en-us/requests/new
