New Post is always with white background, how can i change the background color

When i make a new post, the background is always white, how can i change it for example in blue or green or black to make my text more visible ?

Hi Timethief and good morning. Let me thank you for ur answer on my question (background color) but this is not realy what i wanna know. If you look at my blog, u will see that all my text is against a wooden background and a littlebit dull. Now i would like to place some adds on the same blog but with a different background. Is that possible ? For example a black background with green text…

Color bg with colored text in a post or in your sidebar is possible, but placing ads are against the wp.com terms of service.

By “adds” I think you may mean advertising. If so then note that no blogger initiated advertising, retailing or reselling the work created or services provided by anyone other than yourself is allowed on free hosted wordpress.COM blogs. E-commerce transactions via shopping carts and the like cannot be conducted on free blogs from and being free hosted by wordpress.COM
