New posts not going to followers' emails

    Hello,
    I have a 2 part question:

    1. When signed up to follow my own site, the new posts do not seem to be reaching my email. I have followed it myself using two different emails, clicked to confirm the subscription and then made sure it said to send via email immediately. Yet, neither of my emails have received new posts. What might be going on here? I assume others are not receiving them either.

    2. On the signup widget on my blog, it says “You are following this blog, along with 310 other amazing people,” however, my insights page shows a total of 15 followers. What gives? Where did that 310 number come from?

    The widget shows all followers on your site, so WordPress.com and email followers, as well as all followers via connected social media accounts. You currently have 3 WordPress.com followers, 12 email-only followers, 187 via your Facebook page, and 109 via Twitter.
