  i brought a site name fairylightbackdrops.com and i am unable to find it

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  If you want to see which sites you’ve registered and also want to get access to dashboard here’s how you do that:

  Login to WordPress.com >
  On the left-hand side, of your screen, you’ll see the option which says “My Sites” click on that button and you’ll able to see all the sites which you’ve made using WordPress.com

  Alternatively, you can also access WP-admin dashboard follow the instruction in the link :
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/dashboard/

  hi thanks for getting back to me i made a site with name fairylightbackdrops.wordpress.com i then brought fairylightbackdrops.com i tried to delite the first one and now cant get in to update the later any advice

  Hi @melbournestarcurtains,

  Thanks for writing us back, What I understood is, first you created a site on WordPress.com using free plan after that you’ve upgraded your account and then used custom domain fairylightbackdrops.com and then you tried to delete the fairylightbackdrops.wordpress.com and now you’re unable to update your site.

  I am adding the modlook to this thread so someone from staff can help you to fix this issue.

  Did you purchased through WordPress.com ?
  When you purchase domains from WordPress.com you usually see the domains on your account.
  If you have not purchased domain here at WordPress.com and want to host with the WordPress.com you can do that.
  You’ll need to map a domain your site which is
  fairylightbackdrops.wordpress.com and develop it.

  Domain mapping is available through all of our paid plans — Personal, Premium and Business. Each of those plans includes one free domain credit which can be used to map an existing domain (or register a new one).

  Start by selecting a plan from our Plans page first, then add domain mapping to your cart.

  Or if you don’t want to map a domain to your free site fairylightbackdrops.wordpress.com you can start from scratch

  Correction:

  You’ll need to map a domain your site which is

  You’ll need to map a domain “to” your site which is
  fairylightbackdrops.wordpress.com and develop it.

  Hi there,

  The domain, fairylightbackdrops.com, is registered and hosted with Hostgator. If you want to use that domain for your WordPress.com site, http://fairylightbackdrops.wordpress.com/, you’ll need to 1) purchase a paid plan under My Site ->Plans, and 2) connect the domain to the site using the domain mapping upgrade included in the plan.

  However, I see you already have a site set up at http://fairylightbackdrops.com/. That site is using the self-hosted WordPress.org software, which is something completely different from WordPress.com, and that site has no connection at all to your WordPress.com site at http://fairylightbackdrops.wordpress.com/
