  I just registered for funtobedone.com, however it is showing as http://funtobedonedotcom.wordpress.com/ I read that it would temporarily display as that at some point in the process, but would switch over once it was paid. Is this just a timing issue for the moment? I just want to be certain that friends and family won’t have to type in http://funtobedonedotcom.wordpress.com/

  I have not received an answer to this question so I am requesting a refund of the purchase for the domain as it needs to be within the first 48 hours.

  Hi Joshua,

  I’m sorry for the delay getting back to you about this. When you register a custom domain, you can control which domain is the primary domain (the one that appears in the address bar when you visit your site) from your domains page: https://wordpress.com/my-domains/

  I see that you’ve already refunded your purchase, but if there’s anything more I can do to help please let me know.
