New site error

    I’m attempting to create a new site, completely separate from my existing group of sites under the Forgotten 5 multisite network.

    I didn’t pay attention to the login, and it’s now included in all of that. Can I move this blog/site under a different personal log in without having to delete the existing site I just created?

    Of which site are you speaking?

    You are posting here as the WordPress.com username account, remembertheforgottenfive. This account owns two WordPress.com sites, and has eight other sites connected to it via the Jetpack plugin. Your WordPress.com account has nothing to do with your Multisite network, though – as far as we are concerned these are all completely separate sites, just managed by the same WordPress.com username.

    If you want one of your WordPress.com sites to be managed by a different username, you can transfer ownership of the site to another WordPress.com account as described here:

    If you want the Jetpack connection for one of those sites to belong to another account, go to My Site ->Manage ->Settings for that site and disconnect from Jetpack. Then log into the correct WordPress.com account before reconnecting Jetpack from WP-Admin on the site itself.
