New Site from Old

  Originally, I had a self hosted site (hosted through GoDaddy) at http://www.alyssastrand.com.

  My site wasn’t looking/functioning the way I liked so I decided to create my site on wordpress.com. I’ve mapped alyssastrand.wordpress.com to alyssastrand.com, but the old site remains live.

  I’m guessing it has something to do with me having hosted it else where. I need help getting rid of the old so my new site shows up.

  Hi there,

  Please contact GoDaddy to get rid of your old self-hosted site. Since self-hosted WordPress.org site and WordPress.com are completely separate entities, I wouldn’t have access to your .org site to help you delete it. Only GoDaddy would be able to help you with that as they are your hosts.

  As for your WordPress.com site, your nameservers are set to ours, so your domain: alyssastrand.com is pointing to your WordPress.com site as seen here:
