    Hey,
    My daughter wants to start off publishing content via a new site. Who registers a custom domain name & who hosts it?
    How can she monetize the site & what help/tools do you provide in marketing the site to get traffic?

    For starting WordPress.com site is free, in free plan WordPress.com provides basic site hosting.

    And if she wants to use the Custom-Domain feature then you need to upgrade with one of the WordPress.com plans listed here:
