New to all this and, honestly, quite lost

I need help with a domain and site issue that occurred during a session where I was building my first website with the help of Claude AI which has a WordPress.com connector.

    Here is what happened:

    1. I have three sites on my account:
    • bernardguycom.wordpress.com (Premium plan) — this is where bernardguy.com was originally attached
    • bernardguymedia-ragqy.wordpress.com (free plan) — this is where all my site work was built (navigation, design, pages, banner, etc.) without me or Claude noticing it that it was not attached to the right place
    • bernardguycomdomainonly.wordpress.com — where bernardguy.com landed after being detached

Following Claude’s suggestion, we detached bernardguy.com from bernardguycom.wordpress.com, intending to reattach it to the site with all the work. The domain is now floating, attached to bernardguycomdomainonly.wordpress.com.

      What I would need:

      • For all the site work we did (pages, design, navigation, settings) from bernardguymedia-ragqy.wordpress.com to bernardguycom.wordpress.com, which is where bernardguy.com should be pointing.
      • Or alternatively—maybe?—attach bernardguy.com and the Premium plan to bernardguymedia-ragqy.wordpress.com where all the work is.

      Thank you for your help.

It’s been sorted out, with some human chat help—I should have thought of coming back here and say “Solved.”

Thanks for taking the time to respond.

    3. Hi @bernardguymedia, thanks for letting us know about it, and no worries!
