  hello,
  I am new to wordpress and have just made my first site. When I try to search for my site using a search engine I can’t find it. How can I make sure my site comes up on a search engine so that people can find it easier?

  WordPress.com automatically sends notifications to Google with every post and page update. The search engines can take 4-6 weeks or more to add any new sites. Connecting a Google account with verified site ownership through Google’s webmaster tools may help register your site for inclusion. Please contact Google for more information.
