New to WP

    Hello,
    I am very new to WP and wanted to know some of the differences with Premium and Business. Do you have the option to add new plugins on Premium? How many landing pages can I build at once because I will hosting multiple new landing pages with Aplus.net on a weekly basis? I am currently using HostGator and have built a site in WP through them and need to know if I can transfer the existing unpublished website to the stand alone WP?

    The WordPress.com Business plan is the only plan we have that can install plugins or themes from outside of WordPress.com.

    There are no real limits on the number of pages that you can create, or if there is, no one as far as I know has ever reached that limit. Same goes for posts. I’ve seen sites with over 4000 posts and no problems.

    Are you talking about moving your site to WordPress.com hosting or to a different web hosting? If so, you can export your site and then import it here. We do have a 15MB import file size restriction, so if your site export file ends up being more than that, you would want to export it in a number of chunks so that none of them exceed that limit. I would suggest around 10-13MB each. When you start getting close to that 15MB limit, sometimes server timeouts can cause the the imports to fail.
