New to WP, Need Assistance

  Hey guys, new here… first time posting.
  The site in question is http://www.ibasketblog.com

  I downloaded this theme called ‘cool-basketball’ and it has that sidebar, which says Categories, Cool Web Links, meta etc…. I want to remove them and add other widgets. Tried most things and cannot take those off.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  The correct forum for those who are self hosting wordpress.org software is located at … wait for it … wordpress.org and not at wordpress.COM. We cannot help you here at wordpress.com > http://wordpress.org/support/
