  cant figure out how to set up multiple authors (I have no ‘writing’ option under settings) nor can I figure out how to make content accessible only to people I invite (I have no ‘privacy’ option under settings)

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You go to the dashboard Users page and you invite them via email there. You can invite ten at a time.

  The Privacy option is on the Settings->Reading page.
