new user please help

  I do not want a blog I want a website. I’ve been asking for help all day. Now I have two names under my account, one very random and I want to start over from scratch using the name that goes with my business that I picked a long time ago. I have already started an account therefore cannot start over because I wont be able to use my name as i am reading. I just want the random name deleted and the blog gone, so i cant start my website! It keeps saying I am logged in as ‘didnotlikethisone’ I am ‘moonmamacandles and would love to be able to get to work on my website but it seems i can’t do anything until this mess is gone and able to allow me to start from scratch.

  Hi there,

  You had the username moonmamacandles and then renamed it to didnotlikethisone. As mentioned in the username change process, once you change your username there’s no way to change back to your old username or use that old username again. However, you’re welcome to change your username from didnotlikethisone to a new, different username if you’d like it to be something else.

  I you don’t want the site at the address https://didnotlikethisone.wordpress.com/ you can delete that site starting from Tools > Delete Site in the site’s WP Admin dashboard.

  You also still have a site at https://moonmamacandles.wordpress.com/ and you’re welcome to keep using that address no matter what username you have. (Just don’t delete that site if you want to keep using that address, since deleting a site is also permanent and the address can’t be reused if it’s deleted).
